ASPİLSAN Energy, one of Turkey's leading institutions in the field of energy storage, has added a new one to its domestic engineering moves for the mobility ecosystem. Bringing its deep-rooted experience in the defense industry to the civilian field, the company introduced the highly efficient DC fast charging station it developed for electric vehicles. The new generation charging unit is preparing to take its place directly in the commercial market with its structure compatible with harsh field conditions and flexible power architecture.
Strong Infrastructure and High Security Standards
The domestic DC fast charging station offers solutions to different needs with its flexible power capacity ranging from 120 kW to 200 kW. Operating with a nominal efficiency of over 95 percent, the station provides simultaneous filling support for two electric vehicles thanks to its double-socket design. The hardware is strengthened with IP54 sealing standard and IK10 mechanical impact resistance against harsh weather and environmental conditions. With its integrated fan cooling architecture, the device can provide uninterrupted service in a wide temperature range from minus 30 degrees to plus 50 degrees; It fully meets international safety norms with comprehensive protection mechanisms such as emergency stop, earth leakage current, overload and short circuit.
Smart Communication and Its Reflections on the Market
As ASPİLSAN Energy General Manager Ahmet Turan Özdemir pointed out, the developed station does not only transfer power; It also includes an intelligent communication infrastructure that manages bidirectional data flow between the grid and the car. In the market where electric vehicle penetration is rapidly increasing, civilian technologies produced with the discipline of the defense industry aim to minimize the foreign dependency of the domestic charging network. This step, which promises both low energy loss and long-lasting operational advantages for operators, significantly reinforces the infrastructure security of the domestic electric transportation ecosystem.
This notable technological development underscores the accelerated pace of digital transformation across key sectors of the global knowledge economy. Organizations capable of adapting swiftly to these technological shifts will capture significant strategic advantages in their respective markets. From the TeknoRest tech desk, we view this development as an essential milestone that will shape industry benchmarks over the coming quarters.
